Makeup adventures April '13

So! I have been, once again, buying makeup stuff and pampering myself since I'm on a spending ban on clothes. My sister and I have been spending a relatively biggish amount for pampering.

So! First, facial, eyebrow threading, and lash perm in Let's Face It. The facial cost us around 500 each person. The eyebrow threading was 150 so my eyebrows look better now~ And also lash perm at 280.

For the lash perm, we were supposed to get the Large so the curl would be obvious but they ran out of L and XL and the Medium one would make us look like Daisy Duck, acc to my sister, so they had to settle for the XXL perm, resulting in natural curling.

These are the best photos I could get of my lashes. Also, please ignore my skin. I know, I look horrible.

Next! I got my hair colored. It cost me 348 and it was in my sister's friend's salon (and since my sister is close to her, we got prioritized by the staff :)) There was a line of people waiting and we bypassed them all whoops HAHA) So I chose Mahogany~ But what the stylist and I didn't know was that my roots colored faster than my tips and since s/he kinda prioritized the roots first...

(I'm the right-most, yeah. Pic taken 3 days after I got my hair colored)

So I got to be Lindsay Lohan-ish for a while. The stylist promised that the color will darken after a week (and I had this done last week so right now my hair is settling into a dark-ish auburn). But yeah the day I had it colored, it was a really bright auburn and I loved being ginger for a while.

(Note to self: When I get my hair colored again, I'll def go ginger again. It made my eyes pop.)

Other than pampering, I bought a few stuff.

Etude's Baby Choux Base in Peach. I forgot how much exactly this cost me (you can check it in their website!) but it's roughly 600+ pesos.

(Left is before, right is after)

(Left has no make-up, right is solely Baby Choux)

So the pictures don't really capture the awesomeness that is Baby Choux. The night we celebrated Mother's Day, I wore this and a few drops of Hanskin BB Cream and I kept getting compliments about how flawless and glowing my face looked during the night.

So, I really love Baby Choux! I'm not sure if its main function is like a primer or like BB cream (which my sister told me is supposed to come before foundation and stuff). Baby Choux made my skin smoother and it brightened my face significantly. Also, it smells wonderful. I def rec this.

I also got a couple of stuff from Nichido in Watsons.

I overlooked that the black liner I got was one I already got before and its bad tendency is to melt immediately. The one below is the Nichido Gorgeous Eye Pencil Girl's Night Out 05 Pink Diamond. I tried using it for my waterline but--

It's the same color as my waterline D: So no effect for me. It's also same color as my skin and it's just really shiny coz of the light. Whoops.

I also had to get clear mascara so I can maintain the lash perm~

ALSO! Another gorgeous liner I found in etude.

Etude's Drawing Show Dot Liner. It's almost the same price as the Brush Liner I got.

Here's a comparison of the Dot and Brush Liner.

(Brush left, Dot right but drawn two ways)

So! I have yet to use this but my sister used her Dot Liner the same night I used my Baby Choux and it was gorgeous~ It didn't melt at all so I suppose the quality of this one is the same as the Brush Liner's. Can't wait to use it.
